Karin E. Quirk
Karin Quirk is a Family Law Attorney who helps couples divorce with respect and dignity. As a seasoned divorce attorney,Karin has seen the emotional trauma,expense,and bitterness created by traditional divorce litigation. She believes that through a cooperative divorce process,couples can feel empowered to resolve their differences in a respectful manner,while protecting their children from the trauma of court and custody battles and better preparing themselves to begin a new life.
Karin helps her clients experience a better way of divorcing. She does this by assessing her clients’current relationship,the complexity of their issues and works with them to define and achieve their goals for their financial,personal and professional future. Karin has background and training in investment and wealth management. Currently she comments that she “divides wealth“. Her extensive experience helps her serve clients by helping them understand the tax and investment consequences of their divorce settlement. While not engaging in wealth managment,Karin relies on supportive professionals such as Certified Divorce Financial Analysts (CDFA)

Biography
Karin has had varying careers before attending law school at Western State University College of Law in Irvine California. These careers include teacher,financial advisor,real estate appraiser and corporate marketing executive.
Raised in Spokane and attending Eastern Washington University,Karin spent most of her adult life in Western Washington although she spent several years in Southern California. Karin began her legal career in Orange County California returning to the Puget Sound area in 2003 to go into the grandparent business.
As a member of the California State Bar Karin began her solo legal career in Huntington Beach and has always practiced Family Law. In 2003 she completed training in divorce mediation and shortly thereafter became certified in Collaborative Law.
When not practicing family law or playing with her grandson,Karin enjoys photography,entertaining friends in her home,and going to concerts.
